• Researches and compares available travel and hotel accommodations to identify the best available option for each travel need.

• When travel arrangements are within approved travel reasons and schedules to all appropriate staff. budget limits,  

• Makes arrangements and reservations as requested.

• Prepares travel itineraries and distributes travel arrangements and established limits.

• Obtains approval for travel requests and expenses that exceed documents, such as visas or passports.

• Advises travelers of and assists with any need for specialized travel frequent flyer programs, and other applicable rewards and programs.

• Monitors and facilitates the use of company air travel credit cards, updates to their travel arrangements.

• Maintains communications with travelers regarding changes in or as needed, processes reimbursements for travel expenses.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

 QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong working knowledge of the travel industry.

• Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to assess specified goal multiple options and to identify the best choice to serve a specified goal.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, and related software.

E D U C A T I O N  &  E X P E R I E N C E

• ​High school diploma required; some higher education preferred.

• Previous training and experience with travel software highly recommended.

 

​S A L A R Y  &  B E N E F I T S

• $15.50 per hour.

• This position is currently an independently contracted position and does not include benefits.
